Students practiced using a tool called "Alien Antennas" to help them organize their thoughts about the nearest ten and the nearest hundred to a given number. We used our interactive white board and "light pen" to add details and color to our aliens!
How many beans can you grab with your left hand? Right hand? Third graders predicted, grabbed, counted, combined numbers, and determined the difference between the two hands.
